A Gardener Looks at Her Garden

While looking through old papers, I found this in my mother's Bible.  It was too precious.  She loved the Lord and wanted her life to reflect Him.

My life is a garden.
Your life is a garden.

Is it a waste, untilled and wild?
Like an untaught, untrained child?
Or is it good soil under the Master's Hand?
Is my soul His own cherished land?

Is it grown thick with thistle and wild?
Or has it been sown with His good seed?
What is the harvest from this life?
Goodness and love, or hatred and strife?

O Lord, take this stony ground of mine.
Make it all, completely Thine?
Only then can it ever yield,
The pleasant fruits of a godly field.
Amen and Amen.

Is He Weeping?

My eyes flood with tears and my heart broken as I see my beloved.
He is weeping.
I run to Him wanting to console.
I can not help but also weep.
Oh Jesus, precious Jesus why do You weep?

I weep for My precious ones,
My chosen ones whom I love, you see they have no time for Me.
They say they love Me but they do not come.
They are not devoted to Me but to many other things.
At one time they desired Me.
I was once their new found love.
I weep for My dear precious ones.

Nothing more I can do, I paid all at the cross,
I bought them with a price. Tell them I still love them.
I desire them and they are still Mine.
Remind them of My tender mercies and everlasting love.
Say to them to not let their hearts grow cold instead draw near to Me.

Does Jesus weep over His people today as He wept over the city of Jerusalem?
A personal visit He gave them but rejected.

He invites us to come into His presence. Love Him and adore Him. Worship Him.

PS 95:6-7 NKJV Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand.

Restored Besides Still Waters

O God!
Weary from life's frustrations and struggles,
My own resources and abilities I question.
I feel inept, downtroddened, and unworthy.
As David cried out, I too cry out,
"Why are you downcast, O my soul?"
"Why so disturbed within me?"

Beside the still waters I find Him.
Restore my soul.
Quiet my soul with Your love.
Experiencing His wonderful love,
A smile He brings to my lips.
His love and kindness,
His beauty I behold.

Beside the still waters,
Words of praise I proclaim!
Your Majesty,
O Lamb of God,
King of kings and Lord of lords,
Holy and awesome is Your Name.
You are worthy of praise!
My precious Jesus I love you!
With Him my joy is complete.

Still Waters Liken To........

Beside still waters.....
Is liken to sitting at His feet.
The anticipation and excitement comes
As He draws me into His wonderfulness.
So near to Him!
He seeks my love and devotion.

Quietness and peace found
Beside these still waters.....
Is liken to being near to Him.
Serenity!
Near Him my needs met and
Hears my cry "Have mercy on me".
He is always there for me.

The joy that is found
At these still waters....
Is liken to my Jesus.
He brings a smile to my lips
And fills my heart with joy.
His presence is a place,
A place I want to stay.

These still waters
An open invitation......
Is liken to always an invitation
To "Come, sit at My feet".
Enjoy Me, be near Me.
Let us fellowship together.

Excitement, anticipation?  Always!
To these still waters I return.
